Apple’s new ipad was released today, I wish I could have gotten my hands on the ipad for a proper review, but I was no where near the “apple’s next great creation” event. Sorry guys I wish I could say I touched It, but I cant. but i have to agree with ctfxc… i think this thing is ipointless

Completely lame. Try actually using the iPad before talking about it. Clearly the addition of a larger screen but without the bulk of a laptop raises the possibility of new applications and far easier to use applications. These apps are what are present on the iPad (upon which I am entering this comment).

Great video. I’ve been thinking the same thing about the iPad. It’s just an oversized iPhone or iPod Touch. There are very few extra features that would make me want to spend my money on it. I just don’t understand the hype.

lol im pretty sure ur ganna havta wait for like 5 years. there will probably have cameras, 1080p screens, hdmi ports, and usb ports, etc. sadly

@Chriscrusty Gaming is just half the fun, this will go well beyond gaming. Tthink about it, in front of ur customer with a 9″ screen taking their info or orders instead with a laptop. Of course I am only speaking for my uses. If you think the Ipad is just for gaming thats OK too but I take it much further. No need to carry a laptop if I can carry and Ipad that will do the same thing. And more apps will come out for it. I wont clog up your comment with my thoughts keep those vids coming.

Hey great vid, I really think people are missing the point hear, you can blame Apple for that. People are comparing it to the Iphone and ipod and the only reason is because Apple did not spend any time in redesign the look. That was their blunder. This is basically a mini computer, yes people will have to create apps for it but Apple showed what it could do with Iworks. I am getting the 3g, for pleasure as well as work. Look pass the outer shell see it for gaming and business.
Why don’t they just make a laptop with keyboard and everything but with a touch sensitive screen
I can’t be disappointed anymore. Finally, I can use a Remote Desktop software and use it comfortably, from any place. I can connect to my home computer from school and run Mathematica. I can watch unlimited movies with Air Video Server (a cool app that uses streaming video) from time to time. And the e-mail experience is the best since Apple launched the Apple Mail software… I prefer ten times more an iPad than an useless netbook infected with trojans, spyware, bogus softwares.
