@TheGebs24 Thats a tough call for me then as im looking at using it to replace my existing Dell laptop so need to be able to connect to the internet through Ethernet primarily…
Our wireless connection is only switched on for 7hrs a day to stop our teenager sitting on the internet all day and night… lol
@XFile2708 Hi Marcus, The keyboard and dock are extra unfortunately…£55. Apple are really tight. You get the most basic of instructions with all their products. Additionally, the iPad has no ethernet port. It’s either wifi or wifi with 3G (depending on the model). For gaming it’s well worth it!!!! The HD screen is a beauty
This is the 2nd time ive watched this vid now – am still seriously looking at one of these to replace my ageing laptop… lol
Does it come with the keyboard and dock as standard or are those additional accessories?
Does the dock also give you an ethernet connectivity or is it purely a WiFi only device?

@interghost Hi Adam, Thanks. I’m afraid you’re wrong though. It’s not a ‘big iPod or iPhone’. For a start it has the new Apple a4 chip which enables the iPad to be used in HD (plus more). It’s bigger, better and faster and for people that follow Apple, there are many little tweaks that the iPhone / iPod don’t have.

@Jacesfaces Yeah I use it mainly for video. I’ve just got the ‘Pages’ application and it’s similar to a word processor but with a twist. LOVE IT

Excellent review… I’m seriously thinking of buying one, you could’nt take it everywhere due to it’s size, but it would certainly make the weekend visit to the inlaws less boring

Nice video Gem, but I dont think I will get one. Two reasons, 1st too expesive and 2nd its just an over sized iphone/ipod touch. (And hard to fit in your pocket haha)
It does look nice and Im sure they will sell a packet but its nothing new and laptops are still better, and less chance of smashing the screen ;o) x
good review, bad ipad… its just not for me at all
seems very good,although i’m still thinking of it just as a big ipod touchiphone,and nothing else.the thing i like about my ipod touch is the portabilty,something thatquite doesn’t fit(no punt intended)with this one..nice review asalways,love your voice Gemma
